#HBD: Uncle Ron

Every extraordinarily large family unit needs a consistent voice of reason:

Someone to advise the masses, serve as a moral compass & confidant, clean up any legal messes, etc. etc. 

Uncle Ron--one of my Grandma Sally's five (!!!) sons--is that person for us 🥰

Seeing as how we've been close since my toddler days, I think of Uncle Ron as my own personal Alfred Pennyworth, lol.

For instance, it's Uncle Ron who first hipped me to the shady ways of our Aunt C0ññ!e & 'nem; helped me navigate growing up with a mom like his sister, D3bb!e; served as a beacon of virtue & what *TO* do with my life as opposed to what *NOT* to do; stepped up as an additional father figure to the 11 (!!!) I already have, biologically-speaking...

...As you can see, Uncle Ron is a stand-up guy ✊🏾

I first touched upon Uncle Ron's very important role in our family on my now-defunct blog, but even that brief mention didn't seem to do him enough justice. 

As someone who, in my view, rarely gets the recognition he deserves, I felt it was imperative to shine a light on the 'Awesomeness of Uncle Ron' right here on my current blog, using my gift of putting words to the nonsense (so to speak) 👩🏾‍💻

When I became a legally emancipated minor around the age of 13, Uncle Ron was right there by my side helping me & Grandma Sally navigate the ramifications of that ruling. In that sense, I truly do think of him as a 12th father--if one can fathom such a thing 🩸🧬

Uncle Ron's also famous within our family unit for smoothing over tense situations, since he & I are related to so many different kinds & personalities of people. At times, it seemed that Grandma Sally raised Uncle Ron, specifically, to attend to her variety of complex legal situations. 

How fitting, then, that Uncle Ron would grow up to become an accomplished litigator in DC, eventually ascending to the role of D3püty G3ñ3r@l C0üñs3l for the MPD. I still remember how proud & excited Grandma Sally & I were to see Uncle Ron on TV occasionally, speaking on behalf of the agency on whatever incident du jour transpired that day 🤩

And, of course, Uncle Ron wouldn't be where he is today without the support of my equally-as-awesome Aunt D0ñ@. I've always thought of those two as the perfect, complimentary pairing--kinda like a real-life, ✌️ accessible ✌️ version of Barack & Michelle 🤩 

Whereas I see Uncle Ron as an additional father of sorts, in present day, I see my Aunt D0ñ@ as an "older lady friend" (lol) after a lifetime of viewing her more as a 'bonus' mom.

Needless to say, I'm #blessed to call such wonderful human beings my family members 🥲

Enough of the mushiness, though. In closing, I'll say that I truly hope my followers are fortunate enough to have someone like my Uncle Ron in their lives... he's a G0dsend! 😇
