Happy Valentine's Day

Truth is, y'all, creatures like "Kiki" + friends exist across time & cultures. The closest thing I've found to the h0es I be flambéing TF out of here on seizethebee.day is the Navajo sk!ñw@!k3r/shapeshifter (or 'Flesh Pedestrian' (FP) since it's bad luck to say the S-word out loud).

An FP is a kind of witch that can turn into, possess, or disguise itself as an animal. In Navajo culture, the FP is considered the most wild & dangerous of a variety of witches. FPs can be either male or female & walk freely amongst tribe members during the day, secretly transforming themselves into animals at night.

It's said in order to become an FP, the thing must be initiated by a s3çr3t s0çi3ty that requires it to destroy a close family member, often a sibling. After this task has been completed, the individual gains supernatural powers that give them the ability to shapeshift into animals. The most commonly seen forms of FP are coyotes, wolves, foxes, cougars, dogs, pigs, etc., but they can take the form of any animal depending on the abilities needed for a particular task (i.e., Speed, endurance, strength, claws, sharp teeth, etc.).

Spotted in the wild, FPs have been described as not quite human, not quite animal... more like a debased hybrid of the two. 

If observed long enough, the looks & behavior of the FP easily blow their cover: Something about the eyes often gives them away (very 'animalistic;' no spark of humanity) & they're often severely socially dysfunctional in some way. 

I personally refer to them as 'sub-human beings' or, basically, negative energy in human form.

Navajo culture says when a person becomes a witch, they've forfeited their humanity & their right to exist. FPs ki!! out of anger, greed, spite, envy, & revenge & must continually destroy someone/something or else they, too, perish. 

However, FPs themselves are notoriously difficult to take down & attempts to do so are typically unsuccessful.

The "people" (🙄) I flame up here on my blog are 🐈s, vultures, sharks, & wild dogs in the form of human males; dogs, mangy cats, pigs, & cows in the form of human females... it literally don't make no sense, y'all.
