Why they feelin' The Sting today:
From a recently submitted tip to the F.B.I./EEOC:
Greetings,
This message is regarding alleged booksellers & accused domestic t3rr0r!sts named Chr!st!ñë B0ll0w, H@ññ@h 0!iv3r, & Amÿ Añdr3ws of [REDACTED] Bookstore in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area.
[REDACTED] co-owners Chr!st!ñë B0ll0w & H@ññ@h 0!iv3r s3xü@!!y h@r@$$ed me by rejecting my application to work at their bookstore due to my previously rebuffing both their romantic advances at a literary event several years ago.
After said event concluded & guests were mingling, Chr!st!ñë, H@ññ@h & I engaged in brief, individual conversations that ended with each of them awkwardly inviting me on a date, which I politely declined.
A few years after said event, I applied for a part-time position at Chr!st!ñë & H@ññ@h's relatively new bookstore in [REDACTED]. Throughout the ordeal of applying for work at the store, I was brutally h@r@$$ed by Chr!st!ñë & H@ññ@h--in addition to a staff member of theirs named Amÿ Añdr3ws--to the point of s3xü@! @$$@ü!t.
Chr!st!ñë & H@ññ@h even had the audacity to tell me I was "too attractive" to work for them, saying my looks would be "a distraction" to their customers & other employees.
In a message withdrawing my application to [REDACTED] Bookstore, I filed a formal complaint against one of [REDACTED]'s recent hires, Amÿ Añdr3ws, who was also looped into their h@r@$$m3nt campaign against me.
The following is an excerpted portion of my withdrawal email:
I initially submitted my application via email & addressed to [REDACTED], whom I briefly chatted with in-person declaring my interest in part-time roles.
Over a week later--after following up on my application via email, online contact form, *and* an Iñ$t@gr@m DM sent to co-owner Chr!st!ñë B0ll0w--I received a cryptic & disturbing response from Amÿ Añdr3ws, who indicated in her response that she'd reviewed my resume & that [REDACTED] would "reach out" if any roles became available.
What made Amÿ's response so incredibly disturbing to me as a potential job applicant was that Amÿ made it clear that she'd 1. Opened & read a message that wasn't addressed to her specifically & that was actually meant for [REDACTED]'s co-owners/management to review, & 2. Opened said resume attachment & reviewed *that* to the point she was able to share--unprompted--that she & I both are [REDACTED] grads who used to work on the same school newspaper during our time there.
Taking a look at the "Meet the Team!" section of [REDACTED]'s website, it's perplexing why Amÿ Añdr3ws' bio blurb is the very first on the page, despite her being one of the newest team members to come onboard circa [REDACTED]; strangely, Amÿ's blurb is even above those of [REDACTED]'s two co-owners.
Amÿ's--also very disturbing--bio text indicates she allegedly spent "five years" managing a kids' bookstore in [REDACTED] before relocating to the DC area. Based off my recent interactions with this person, I'm immediately wondering why she *actually* left the kids' bookstore job in [REDACTED] to relocate so far away, to a part of the country she's not originally from & appears to have zero connections to.
Amÿ Añdr3ws' unsettling yet oh-so-telling bio blurb continues on to state that she "loves [being] emotionally devastated" by the books she reads (???) & is "passionate about representations of disability in kidlit," but when I mentioned my own disability status in one of the follow-up messages I sent to [REDACTED] regarding my application, it was literal crickets, i.e. No response whatsoever.
Amÿ Añdr3ws' public-facing LinkedIn profile still has her listed as an employee of that unfortunate children's bookstore in [REDACTED], along with several internship-type positions for (alleged) publishers & writers I've never heard of as an English major & [REDACTED] graduate.
Prior to graduating from [REDACTED] & during subsequent trips back to the school for reunions & such, I was actually warned by one of the school's presidents about so-called & self-professed "[REDACTED] grads" like Amÿ Añdr3ws, who basically use the school's name to authorize their blatant disregard for humanity & to further inflict their racist, sexist, & bigoted worldviews upon the public at-large.
If Amÿ Añdr3ws & those of her ilk are the type of employee [REDACTED] Bookstore is OK with having on their payroll, then I'm--unfortunately--going to have to keep looking elsewhere for what would ordinarily be a dream part-time job for someone of my academic & literary background.
Thank you again for your consideration.
---
Local & federal authorities have already been alerted to Chr!st!ñë, H@ññ@h, & Amÿ's grossly offensive on- & offline conduct & civil litigation against all of these individuals is pending for continuing to h@r@$$ me to present day.
I fear for my life & safety around Chr!st!ñë B0ll0w, H@ññ@h 0!iv3r, & Amÿ Añdr3ws & am disappointed that they seemingly continue to work & collect paychecks while actively t3rr0r!z!ng me to the point of physical illness & disability.
Thank you in advance for your swift & confidential handling of this matter.
Best,
A Survivor/Victor 🏆
